Dear Parents and Guardians of Hyde Park UPK students who were awarded spots at the Holy Trinity Early Childhood Annex at St. Peter’s School,
Welcome to the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program at the Annex! Congratulations on receiving a spot for your child and for completing your registration with the Hyde Park Central School District. We have received your child’s registration records from Hyde Park and are working on completing your child’s enrollment here. In the meantime, we wanted to introduce you to our program. We have information about our program on the Holy Trinity website under the Early Childhood Tab ( https://holy-trinity-school.com/early-childhood-1 ).
We are attaching some information and forms to this email. One of the forms is the Emergency Contact Sheet for our school. If you can print it out, complete it and return it to the school it will help us to be ready to welcome your child. You can return it via email, by dropping it off at our main office, or by bringing it on orientation day. If you don’t have access to a printer, a hard copy is available at the main office. Our current summer hours are Tuesday-Thursday 9 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
Mr. Roach, Director, Holy Trinity Annex, and Mrs. Snipe, the school administrator, will be working to complete the process so your child is set to begin UPK in September.
If your plans about having your child enrolled in the UPK program have changed or you have moved out of the Hyde Park School District please notify both the district and the school.
Below is some important information about the UPK program.
The HTS Annex at St. Peter's has been host to the Hyde Park UPK program for 11 years, and this is our third year hosting both Wappingers Central School District’s and Arlington Central School District’s UPK programs. This is our second year hosting Poughkeepsie UPK students. We use Creative Curriculum, an established center-based, early childhood curriculum, in all of our UPK classrooms. The UPK program is not faith-based.
