Family Notes At the Annex

Greetings From Holy Trinity Annex. Preparations for the new school year are ongoing. We are trying to keep our Early Education Tab on the
Holy Trinity Website (https://holy-trinity-school.com/early-childhood-1)
updated with information and forms you may need. Some of you may have received some of this information already but we keep adding new students so pardon us if we repeat ourselves. We will continue to send out updates by email also as we get new information.
Parent - Student Orientation
Thursday, September 5th will be our day for Parent - Student Orientation. This will provide an opportunity for parents and students to meet the staff and teachers, tour the building, and drop off any supplies. We will start the session in the school gym at 1 P.M. where you will meet the teacher and they will be able to take you to your child’s classroom. Our office staff will be available if you have any questions and you can also tour the school if you haven’t had a chance to do so yet.
The Hyde Park UPK session will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.
Classroom and teacher assignments will be finalized toward the end of August as we are still receiving enrollment paperwork for new students.
Your child’s teacher will be reaching out to you before the orientation day by email to give you information and specifics about each class so be on the lookout.
Friday September 6th - First Full Day of School
We will start our full day schedule on Friday September 6th.
Supplies
Learning and classroom materials are provided. Students need just the basics- a backpack, a folder for notes, a water bottle and a change of clothes. When teachers contact you later in August they give you more details and will be able to answer any supply questions.
Arrival and Dismissal
Dropoff begins at 7:45 for car riders. Please park in the parking lot and walk your child over to the sidewalk by the flagpole. There you will be met by staff who will lead students into the building. Please do not park in the bus/fire lane or block the driveway of the parish house. Buses will be met by our staff and the students will be escorted into the building.
Dismissal for car riders will be from the double doors at 2:50 in the front of the building. You will sign out your child on the forms at the front table. Bus riders will be placed on their buses by our staff as the buses arrive for pick-up.

Health Office Updates
Students are required to have a current physical on file in the Health Office for the 2024-25 school year. The physical must have been done between
Sept. 5, 2023 - Sept. 5, 2024.

Some More Info
We are attaching some information and forms to this email. One of the forms is the Emergency Contact Sheet for our school. If you can print it out, complete it and return it to the school it will help us to be ready to welcome your child. You can return it via email, by dropping it off at our main office, or by bringing it on orientation day. If you don’t have access to a printer, a hard copy is available at the main office. Our current summer hours are Tuesday-Thursday 9 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
