I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying a restful summer with your families. Today, I write to share news that marks both a moment of reflection and heartfelt gratitude.
After 23 years of dedicated service as a middle school Math teacher in the Archdiocese of New York, Mrs. Kavanagh has decided to retire. It is with a mix of admiration and fondness that we bid farewell to a teacher who has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students here at Holy Trinity School and beyond.
Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Kavanagh has embodied the very best of our educational mission. Her unwavering commitment to our students' success has been nothing short of inspirational. Mrs. Kavanagh consistently went above and beyond, whether through her tireless support for her students, or her willingness to spend extra hours to ensure every child understood the material. Her dedication and impact extended far beyond the classroom, to generations of students who have benefited from her life’s work.
I am sure that many of you have stories of how Mrs. Kavanagh made a difference in your child's life—whether by sparking a love for mathematics, instilling confidence in their abilities, or simply being a caring mentor.
