Dear Parents and Guardians of ACSD UPK students who were awarded spots at the Holy Trinity Annex @ St. Peter’s,
Welcome to the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program at the Annex! Congratulations on receiving a lottery spot for your child and for completing your registration with Arlington Central School District. We have received your child’s registration records from ACSD and we are ready for you to complete your child’s enrollment here.
Most Catholic schools in Dutchess have been offering for fee PreKindergarten programs for more than 20 years. The HTS Annex at St. Peter's has been host to the Hyde Park UPK program for 12 years, and this is our third year hosting both Wappingers Central School District’s and Arlington Central School District’s UPK programs. We use Creative Curriculum, an established center-based, early childhood curriculum, in all of our PK classrooms. The UPK program is not faith-based; all faiths are welcome.
The ACSD UPK funding from NYS is for a “part-time” program - 5 hours per day, 5 days per week:
o Please be sure to alert Mr. Roach and your child’s classroom teacher about any special needs your child may have. Due to FERPA law, IEP/504, and other special education needs records, are not provided to the school by the district without express written consent from the parent. It is the parent’s responsibility to secure and provide this documentation to the school.
A tuition-based UPK Wrap Around program is available to bring a student to full day status.
If you choose to enroll in the HTS UPK Wrap Around Program, you will receive separate instructions.
What are your next steps for completing enrollment with the Annex at St. Peter’s?
Please email Mrs. Snipe, the school administrator, at mainoffice.holytrinityannex.d520@catholicschoolsny.org to confirm your preferences.
Teachers will be assigned in late summer and orientation will be scheduled for the first week of school.
We truly look forward to welcoming your family to our school community.
