Family Notes At the Annex

The first month in our school year is coming to an end.  It is amazing to see how students have settled into the routines and are focused and happy during school.    Here are some notes and updates.

Picture Day

If your child missed picture day or you are not satisfied with the first photos when they come back we will have a picture make-up day.  We will let families know as soon as it is scheduled.  

Cooler Weather

Fall has arrived and some cooler temperatures, especially in the mornings. Students will have outdoor time each day when the weather permits so, please dress them appropriately for the chillier days. All students need coats on the cooler days.  The conditions can change as the day goes on.  Layers work best (be sure to label all clothing so we can reunite it with your child if they misplace it.)

Parking Lot

Please make sure you are parking in designated parking spots and following the directional arrows in the parking lot.  No cars should ever park in the fire lane by the sidewalk in the front of the school.   

Emergency Notification System

We use IRIS (Immediate Response Information System) to send information, reminders and emergency notifications such as weather related closings, delays and early dismissals.  We will send out alerts just by email, by email and text message or also by email, text and phone for the most important notifications.  The system has been set up based on the information we have from enrollment time which makes it very important for you to let us know if your phone number or email changes.  If you have caller ID, the phone calls come from a number in Sugarland, Texas where IRIS is based.  Emails will arrive from iris@irisalert.com.  Please make sure it is not blocked on your email accounts.

Tuition Payments

The third payment is due on 10/15/24 for all Holy Trinity Pre/K 3 & 4, Kindergarten, and First Grade Tuition accounts as well as any Aftercare accounts and Wrap Around accounts.  

Hyde Park Bus Transportation

Hyde Park will not be providing bus transportation on October 3rd, January 29th and February 14th.  The district is closed on those dates.  The Holy Trinity Annex is open for regular school on those days.  Parents will need to drop off  and pick up students if they attend those days.

Health Office Updates

Please alert the nurse @ 845-303-6127 for any information regarding allergies, medications, or health concerns.  

The nurse will be following up regarding missing physicals and vaccinations that are required for  attendance at school.  

Students are required to have a current physical on file in the Health Office for the 2024-25 school year.  

Reminder- Students who are sick with fever, vomiting or diarrhea must be symptom free without medicine for 24 hours before they return to school.
